We are looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to build and grow a team of National Sales representatives. The ideal candidate is a leader who will coach and develop sales account executives in all areas from prospecting and closing new business. You will be responsible for managing a team of Enterprise sellers who generate new business within existing and new accounts. You will need to have a proven track record of success at driving Enterprise sales results with the ability to deal with ambiguity and constant change. The National Sales Manager role is key to Yelp’s success and offers significant career growth opportunities within Yelp’s Enterprise Sales team!
What you will do:
Exceed quarterly sales team quotas and all activities of revenue generation, to ensure continual aggressive growth nationally
Implement strategic planning, forecasting and ongoing development of sales team
Coach your team in effective sales strategies, pipeline management, opportunity management and career planning
Attract, hire and develop a Sales team to consistently execute National gameplans and exceed business goals, while holding them accountable
Identify improvement in all areas of productivity, process and efficiency
Develop and maintain executive level relationships to help drive sales activities
Assist in closing complex multi-million dollar programs with your team
Be a leader your team can depend on!
What we are looking for:
2+ years managing a team of 5 or more
8+ years relevant Enterprise experience across Sales, Digital, and Advertising roles
Proven track record of exceeding multi-million dollar Sales Targets
Experienced communicator with proven track record of Executive outreach
Entrepreneurial with history of building partnerships from scratch
Able to navigate uncertainty successfully for all parties and lead to desired outcomes
Believe in Yelp’s mission and naturally puts the company and team first
Able to Travel 30-50% of the time
Easy-going, cool headed, with a track record of collaboration and working well internally
Ready and willing to roll up your sleeves and build something big at Yelp
